Hi Everyone
I had the privilege of flying to Port Alfred for my dual cross country this past weekend. There I met some very helpful instructors and heard that they had hosted an international group of disabled student pilots for various courses and that they had been very successful. It was great to hear of other people with various disabilities overcoming their handicaps and enjoying this wonderful sport. I can recommend 43rd Air School as a wonderful venue with helpful people.
one of the friendliest pilots that flew in from Grahamstown was Christian Carver who told me that he used to convert vehicles for people with disabilities, so should you need such assisstance I am sure you can speak to him via the Microlight flying school in Grahamstown. Unfortunately I do not have a phone number but they would be in the directory or contact Dupliprint the local firm where the owner of the flight school works.
Regards
